What is respite care?

Respite care provides short-term, temporary relief for family members who are caring for individuals with special needs, disabilities, or chronic conditions. It allows caregivers to rest and recharge, knowing their loved one is in safe and compassionate hands.

Who do you serve?

We support adults and youth under 18 in the Mat-Su Valley who need care due to physical, intellectual, or developmental challenges. Our care model is family-centered and built around each person’s unique needs and goals.

What types of services do you offer?

We provide two main types of care:

  • In-Home Respite Care: Help with routines, companionship, safety, and daily support inside your home.

  • Community Support: Assistance with outings like shopping, events, doctor visits, and social activities to promote independence and connection.

How are caregivers matched with families?

We match each family with a qualified, compassionate caregiver based on personality, care needs, and shared values. We aim for lasting, trusting relationships — not just coverage.

Is the care personalized?

Yes. Every care plan is customized to fit the individual’s lifestyle, preferences, and personal goals. We believe in honoring each person's dignity and promoting their independence.
